Watercolour Painting Workshop Chinese Birds

Paint this beautiful bird scene using mainly watercolour and inks where there will also be some instruction on Chinese materials and some of their techniques too. You can bring your normal materials as we will be mainly using watercolour - there will be the use of black ink which you can bring along should you have this, if not, you are welcome to use mine. As well as many traditional watercolour techniques, I will also discuss and demonstrate some authentic Chinese materials and methods. Please do not buy Chinese materials for this workshop as these will be demonstrated but your own usual watercolour brushes and paints can be used. If you do not have any materials at all, these can be used in the gallery for the duration of the day for a small additional fee of £5. The workshop price is £50 pp where a 50% deposit will secure your space, these can be purchased here in the 'shop' area. Coffee/tea and cake will be complimentary. Do bring a packed lunch or dine in at the tea rooms on site
